CHILDCARE

ASFB AFSS 2026 is pleased to explore the provision of onsite childcare to support delegates attending the conference.

We invite delegates to register their interest in utilising childcare services by completing this Expression of Interest form. This will assist us in assessing demand and confirming arrangements, including staffing, facilities, and operating hours.

Important Information
- Childcare will be subject to sufficient demand and availability of qualified providers.
- Places will be limited and allocated based on confirmed bookings.

Holding Deposit
Due to a high number of late cancellations and no-shows in previous years—which resulted in unrecoverable costs for the conference—a nominal holding deposit will be required to secure childcare places.

The deposit will be based on $50 per child, per day of care requested.
This deposit is fully refundable following the conference, once attendance has been confirmed.
The deposit is intended to ensure committed bookings and minimise last-minute cancellations.

For families requiring care for multiple children, the total deposit amount may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis.

Next Steps
Once EOIs close and childcare arrangements are confirmed, delegates who have registered interest will be contacted with:
- Availability and allocation of places
- Final costs (if applicable)
- Deposit payment details and deadlines
- Further information regarding providers, operating hours, and requirements

We strongly encourage you to submit your EOI as early as possible to assist with planning and to maximise the likelihood of securing a place.
