Salmon Ponds & Derwent Catchment Field Trip

Join us for an engaging day exploring Tasmania’s historic Salmon Ponds and innovative water quality monitoring initiatives along the River Derwent.
Delegates will be divided into two groups, rotating between the Salmon Ponds and the Derwent River Water Monitoring Station at Reid Fruits Orchard, with lunch together at Pancakes on the Pond Café.

Cost: $65 per person, including transport, lunch and entry fees
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required for access to the Salmon Ponds facilities
Transport: Coach transport is provided, with delegates divided into two groups for the site visits

Explore the historic Salmon Ponds with a guided presentation from Craig or Garath, followed by an opportunity to explore the site, speak with staff and ask questions.
